My love affair with Vermont (VT) started a few years back when I went on my first VT camping trip. There are countless places to camp in Vermont, each campsite has its own charm. Vermont is really an outdoorsmen’s dream — great camping, hiking and skiiing, all of which is fairly accessible from upstate NY. Even if you are the indoor type there is still plenty to do. There are museums, art galleries, theaters, outlet shopping, great coffee shops, the Ben n Jerry’s factory, the Vermont Teddy Bear factory, and much more.

I love Vermont for the friendly people, and the amazing scenery. If you are looking for a quiet getaway where you can relax, taking in some shopping, maybe an art gallery and a low-key meal, VT is the place for you!
