The push for the holiday shopping extravaganza. Den den den….

I am happy to report that I started my holiday shopping a while ago, Holiday cards, wrapping paper, tissue paper, a handful of gifts, are all stored safely in my closet. I have a few more things to purchase/wrap/etc but I am in good shape. Which is why I am going to try to do my best to avoid the craziness that is shopping during the second half of December. I will make brief shopping trips as needed but I refuse to shop the week of Christmas or wait until December 15th to first get started. I am basically in shopping mode all year. If I see something I know will be a definite hit I will buy it even if it is July. Coming from a family where a lot of people have and do work in stores I have learned my lesson.

That is not to say you shouldn’t do all of your shopping on Christmas Eve if that is what you enjoy. I can’t imagine why you would but hey whatever works right?

The stores are really going to be pushing the sales and special deals so keep your eyes open people! Wear a lightweight coat, eat before you hit the mall, leave small children at home and don’t forget your cell phones so you can find friends and family easily when you split up in stores.
