So I recently noticed when trying to go to the movies that it is impossible to find a movie that starts on or around 8:00 pm anymore. Remember when almost every movie in the theaters had an 8 and 10 showing? Now I find everything starts smack in the middle of dinner or midnight. What the heck happened?

Who wants to see a movie at midnight? I want to be alseep at midnight, not first buying my tickets. There must be some rhyme or reason to this whole thing but it is seriously irking me!

Recently my husband and I had planned to go to the movies. We checked all of the theaters within reasonable driving distance and the only sort or normal time showing we found was 7:00 pm, which we missed. Everything else started at 10:45 pm or midnight. Which if we had chosen one of those showings would have gotten out between 1:00-2:30 am. Hello?

I don’t know what happened to make the coveted 8:00 pm time slot disappear but I would like to find it. It was the perfect movie showtime, didn’t interfere with dinner and even a long movie would be over before 11:00 pm, perfect!

Bring back the 8:00 pm movie!!!
