So the Golden Globes were on last night. Awesome. I love award shows. I know it sounds silly to sit in your living room anxiously awaiting who will win Best Actress, Best Picture, what Angelina will be wearing. Love it all! Can’t wait for the Oscars, don’t even get me started on the Oscars. Heaven.

The globes do seem more fun for the actors attending, there is afterall a full dinner and open bar at this event, unlike almost all other award shows. And you get to sit at a wedding reception sized table with the other people from your movie, instead of sitting movie theater style in rows.

I really dug Angelina’s and Tina Fey’s outfits. The men all looked pretty similar in their black suits and tuxes. Lots of white, lots of spray tans and bleached teeth, the usual. Jack Nicholson’s daughter was Miss Golden Globe, which actually looks like a fun if somewhat awkward job.

So the globes are over…and now we wait for the Oscars to arrive. Bring on the red carpet!
