I have not gone skiiing in many many years. I tried it for the first time when I was 12 and let’s just say I was not given any natural talent when it comes to winter sports. But I vowed that this winter I would take a ski lesson and really try to get into it and see if I can indeed stay upright on 2 slick, narrow pieces of plastic for more than 1.5 seconds.
My favorite winter ’sport’ is snow tubing. No skill required, just as long as you can sit on a tube and yell while some 15 year old boy hurls you down a small ski slope then you have what it takes. But due to the lack of regular snow this winter (so far) I have not been able to do either. There has been ice by the truck loads, and the mountains do their best to make the fake snow (also ice) but I am determined to wait until there is some real snow on the ground before I will risk hurling my body into it.

One more thing I would like to do is go snow shoeing. EMS will rent you snow shoes for a day at a fairly low cost. Again, not too much skill required althought I do hear it takes a lot out of you. Come on snow!
Some things I would like to do if we ever get any real snow.. was originally mixed on January 18 at 9:30 am, and then promptly served in Teetotaled
