Ok so I am using the word evil a little loosely here. I have had my share of strange/annoying/rude/psycho neighbors. In some ways many of them seemed evil to me. Evil for keeping me up all night every night for 2 weeks straight, evil for making huge disgusting messes in common areas creating a foul smell the kind of which I had never experienced before. But are they burning in hell kind of evil? Probably not.

Anyways, here are my top 3 evil/stupid neighbor experiences, in no particular order:

1. Idiot girls in my building having the loudest, wildest (no I am not exagerating) party I have ever heard. Worse than any college party I ever attended or witnessed. After calling the cops and excitedly waiting for them to arrive (after enduring several hours of this and not being able to sleep due to my bed shaking from the noise)…I hear the cops bang on the door for a solid 10 minutes and almost break it down. The party is so loud they couldn’t hear the cop using all his weight to bang on the door or sceaming at the top of his lungs, It’s the Cops!!!! When my neighbor finally answers the door she says something to the effect of, I heard the banging but I knew it wasn’t someone I invited so I didn’t want to answer it. How she didn’t get pepper sprayed for this response I will never know.

2. Creepy neighbor with several cats. Used to lock her tiny baby kittens out on her deck. Came home one night and one of the kittens had fallen off of the second story deck. A neighbor had spotted him outside and was keeping an eye on it (it seemed completely unharmed). I picked it up and we all knocked on the door to return it to the woman. Hi, I think your cat fell off of your deck. Looks at me, looks at the cat, takes cat from me, closes door.

3. After months of dealing with psycho loud parties we had 5 friends over. Remember this number, 5. We had dinner and were playing a board game in our living room. Laughing, talking, the usual. About 9:00 pm on a Saturday night, with FIVE people over we hear a knock on the door. It is the cops. Did one of my evil, loud, neighbors call the cops on me?! Talked to another neighbor a week or two afterwards. Turns out someone called the cops on someone else, who had left by the time the cops got there. They walked by our apt and heard voices and figured, Hey this must be the noise complaint, knocked on our door said Keep it down! And left. Never been so pissed off in my life. 5 people.
