Food recall for pet owners
As the owner of one fabulous cat I felt it was important to share this information with other pet owners out there. By now most of you have probably heard about the huge pet food recall by Menu Foods. You can get a list of recalled products here.
If in doubt, check the website of the food you use just to be sure. I checked the Purina site as well as Nutro foods and they are both participating in partial voluntary recalls just to be safe, even though neither company has had any major reports of illness or death as of yet.
Obviously this recall is really frightening for pet owners. I don’t remember a recall of this magnitude happening in quite a while. So be safe everyone, check all of the manufacturer websites just to be sure and keep a close eye on your furry friends.
As always, if your pet is acting funny it is worth a call to be vet. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a pet due to this terrible incident.

It is scary. I feel badly for the pet owners whose food falls within the recall. We’ve been lucky. No matches.
Teatotaled, if you love animals and have been considering becoming a trainer, you should go for it. It’s a wonderful career where you get to help lots of animals and people at the same time–and get paid for it!
