If you are a religious person you probably pray to God in times of great need, great joy or confusion. If you do not believe in God, perhaps you put your wants and needs out into the universe hoping for a response of some kind. Have you ever gotten one? Would you recognize it if you did?
I do a little bit of both. I pray often but I also leave some things up to fate/mother nature. I have gotten what I feel are pretty loud and clear responses and also many subtle ones. Some so subtle I never even recognized them, but I know the answer came in one form or another. Hindsight and all that.
We can’t always get what we want. Well sometimes we do, but often we only get what we need. There are many books out there regarding the power of prayer, the power of thought and manifestation, etc. Some believe if you want something it is already yours, all you have to do is ask like you are entitled to it. Nice idea but I’m not buying. I don’t believe I am entitled to 50 million dollars. I would love to win the lotto but I know I am not entitled to do so, nor is anyone else.
So what can you do? If you have a dream do you just ignore the powers of prayer and hope in order to achieve it? No - If you have a dream or a want (that is not harmful) pray, meditate do whatever it is you do in those times and fight like heck for it. Don’t forget that God/the universe needs some assistance so you’ve got to work your butt off on your end. But if you believe in something go for it. You may not get what you want, but open yourself up to the possibility of being given something you need.
