There is something about the nice weather that just puts me in a good mood. I don’t mind winter all that much. The snow can be bothersome but for the most part it is ok, until those 2 feet of snow in 10 hours storms come along, then winter and me = not so good friends. But spring I welcome with open arms! The sweltering days of summer have not yet locked us all inside with the air conditioning, no spring is a great season.
Having the windows open is such a treat after a long winter. You are reconnected to the neighborhood. Hearing people buzzing around in the morning, feeling the cool breeze, even the cat is happier. She perches on the window sill for hours just watching and listening. I assume she is imagining all of the birds she could catch and other trouble she could get into. Just feeling a cool breeze on your face can turn a blah day into a pretty good day in less than 3 seconds.
Some people complain about the rainfall during spring. But just start a garden and that rainfall takes on a whole new meaning. I tried my hand at my first real garden last year, the weeds won but I had fun anyway. If you hate rain, start a garden - if you hate snow, learn to ski. Make the inclement weather something to look forward to. This year I am thinking I would like to learn how to really golf. I have some experience from high school - our gym class used to bus us to the country club down the street to spend time on the driving range. Did that sound really stuck up highschool-ish? At any rate, they did and I was pretty good. Even went on the school golf tournament where I was terrible and spent way too much time in the sand pit. But I did enjoy it and would like to improve. Plus you get to wear ugly pants on purpose and ride around in those awesome carts. The carts are by far my favorite part of a golf course. If I was ever a platinum selling rapper with a big compound in L.A. I would totally ride around my property on a golf cart, for no good reason other than MTV would film me doing it for cribs and it would look so hot.

LOL ont the platinum selling rapper/golfer!
Yep, I so agree. Absolutely nothing like the windows open with the birds singing and a breeze blowing.
