I have recently discovered how tough house hunting is. How tough is it? It will punch you in the gut, throw sand in your eye and punch you again. Yeah house hunting is pretty intense. If house hunting was a person he would be a big, pissed off Italian guy.
I keep telling myself that we will find the right house at the right time and in the meantime I can’t get my heart set on any one piece of property. Which of course is easier said then done. We have watched many of our friends buy and build houses in the past couple of years. It can be a back breaking and heart breaking experience at times. But in the end, once you have found just the right home….bliss! Bliss coupled with huge bills and added stress but bliss none the less.
So I will resign myself to the fact that this is going to take a lot of time. I have been researching the areas we are interested in for about 2 years so we are armed with a wealth of knowledge. If only we were armed with a money tree that sprouted 100 dollar bills….
Wish me luck.

House hunting sounds like my old neighbor Tasha. I never did like her much either.

LOL! I shall blame any house hunting disappointments on Tasha from now on!

We looked for a year solid and pretty much gave up. Then we went for a bike ride on a route we’d never taken before, and there it was. A “For Sale by Owner”. We called that night and signed a contract the next day.
It will happen for you too. It can take time though.
