Teetotaled.com is a weblog about nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, self-improvement, and overall enjoyment of life.
I used to get so excited when I would see “10 new comments awaiting moderation” only to realize 8 of them were raunchy spam messages. After installing a better spam filter I now see my spam folder filled with tons and tons of “comments” every day. Most of them are your run of the mill, Buy Viagra! Hot college chicks, etc, etc. Lately though I think the spam might be flirting with me.
Yesterday for example I received a spam message with a poem that began…”All are not thieves that dogs bark at.” Seriously, spam is spending way too much time on these messages. Do the spam-bots (as I affectionately refer to them) spend their days writing spam-poetry to lure me into their messages of Viagra and free email addresses?! Have they realized that the messages of the Buy viagra NOW! variety have been lost on me? Are they upping their game? What’s next, romantic haikus in Spanish? Rod Stewart song lyrics?!

I decided a long time ago to just accept the advances of my spam. Our wedding is next May.

Some of those spam messages sound like they were written by Miss Teen South Carolina… ”All are not thieves that dogs bark at… the Iraqs, South Africa”.

HAHAHA!!!! Oh that poor girl. What in the hell was she trying to say? Her second chance at answering the question on the Today Show was more coherent but still no where near stellar.
