A gal and her bike…
This is me riding my new bike, an Electra Coaster. I don’t think I have ever posted a picture of myself before. Naturally I chose of picture of myself wearing a helmet, riding my bike in 90 degree heat. Try not to pass out from how fabulous I look.
I am old school, hence a bike with footbrakes. We keep it real in NY.
You know that saying, “It’s like riding a bike?” - Funny thing about that: when you haven’t ridden a bike in, oh, I don’t know say 15 years, even riding a bike takes a minute to get used to again.
Thanks to my husband (the bike was a birthday gift) I am back on the road. Watch out pedestrians!

I had a bike like that once. It was a hand me down I got at college and it was the terror of many a pedestrian.
