Moves I am looking forward to seeing…

With the writer’s strike there aren’t many fresh episodes on T.V. but at least we have some new films to look forward to!

A few films I can’t wait to see:

1. I am Legend

2. The Golden Compass

3. Once - Have to wait for it to move up in the Netflix queue since it is not playing anywhere near me….sigh.

My wife is just jonesing now for “Sweeney Todd”, the Tim Burton film with Johnny Depp. Apparently critics who got a sneak peak say it’s the best film of the year.

Dan I think Sweeney Todd is going to be pretty awesome!

I’m sort of a “Bah-humbug” guy when it comes to movies, although I really, really enjoy good ones. But the past 10 years, or so, I rent them after I’ve heard most of the + and - reviews.

I don’t enjoy the theaters. Last time I went, I took my Grandson to see Spiderman 3. Before that it was the Passion of Christ movie. Didn’t enjoy either one of them. They didn’t life up to their hype for me. Then I don’t remember when I was in a movie theater.

Now, The Usual Suspects: that’s a movie!

    Anyway, go and enjoy.

Paul, I definitely understand what you mean about the theater. The prices seem to go up every 15 minutes as well. I usually reserve the theater outings for movies that really deserve a big screen - like action movies, etc.

The Usual Suspects is one of my favs!
I also love all those feel good 80’s comedies….National Lampoon’s anyone?!

I Am Legend looks pretty cool. Haven’t heard good things about The Golden Compass though.
