I can hardly contain my excitement, LOST is back! Last night’s episode recapped a bit of last year’s finale, showed us some flash forwards (but not as far in the future as the flash forwards from the finale last year) and of course gave us an update on the status of the “rescue” in progress. What we found out: Charlie is definitely 100% dead, only 6 people get off the island and go home, the rescuers are not who the survivors think they are, and the people who do make it off the island are sharing a dark secret.

Due to the writers strike there are only about 8 episodes filmed so far, which means that if the strike doesn’t get settled soon LOST fans are going to be left hanging, possibly until next year. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen because after last night’s episode I think there is some awesome stuff in store this season.

* I would so have gone with John Locke’s group last night, even if he is a little coo-coo at times.
