Teetotaled.com is a weblog about nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, self-improvement, and overall enjoyment of life.
I was tagged for a new meme that is bouncing around the internet by the very talented Paul at Writing From the Hip. His list was pretty impressive so the pressure is on! Why is it that as soon as someone asks you for a list like this your mind starts to go blank? I had to sit for a minute and recall all of those ideas that float around my head everyday, things I want to do, places I want to see. So here it goes!
1. Go to Ireland. My grandmother’s ashes are buried there in her family plot and some of my distant cousins still live in rural Mohill. I have always wanted to visit.
2. Go back to Spain. I visited once when I was 16 and immediately fell in love with everything that is Spain; the people, the food, the culture, the history. This time I would like to visit with my husband. I know the trip would be even more incredible this time around having him there to share it with me.
3. Publish a children’s book. I have been compiling ideas for the past year and I really need to push forward and make it a reality.
4. Compile a detailed family genealogy. There are a lot of - what happened to so and so and who was born in what country - questions floating around in my family. I would like to answer some of those questions.
5. Take a flying lesson. The thought of piloting a plane feels both exhiliarating and terrifying at the same time.
Hoping to find out what is on your bucket lists - Dan, Karen and the infamous Spoon.

Oohh, you’ve given me a couple to add to my list. I’d like to do the genealogy thing too. And flying lessons, and…
Better get going on this over at my place. Thanks for including me.
