A nervous nelly
I am having minor surgery this week and I am a nervous nelly about it. I am not one of those people who freaks when they have to get a shot or anything like that, but it is unnerving to put your well being in the hands of someone else, especially a stranger. Thankfully this particular stranger is pretty well known and has won a bunch of awards so I guess that isn’t so bad. At any rate I am thinking positive and hoping that the recovery will be speedier than they say it is - although I know how rare that is!

Hope it all goes well. As they say, minor surgery is something that happens to someone else. When it’s me, it’s major.
