Looking for a good movie to see, besides the usual summer blockbuster fare? May I highly recommend seeing Son of Rambow. The movie is a coming of age tale (of sorts) set in England in the early 80’s. It is not being widely distributed so you may not be able to find it in your area, but definitely add it to your Netflix or look for it at Blockbuster if you don’t get the chance to see it in a theater. I was lucky enough to catch it at a local independent theater in my area. The young actors are incredible.
This movie made me laugh out loud several times, cry a bit and also transported me back to being a 10 year old, when I lived primarily in my own imagination. It will make you long for the days of lying in the grass dreaming up an entire civilization among the clouds.

Go see it!
