29 is the new 21!
In just over a week I will be turning 29 years old. Yup, my last year in my twenties…oh what a decade it has (almost) been! A lot of people seem to get nervous as they approach 30, like some alarm is about to go off. I say bring it on 30, and 31 and 32!
As far as I am concerned 29 is the new 21! That doesn’t really mean anything but I think it will be a fun response when people say Oh you’re turning 29 huh? One more year til 30! I will respond with - 29 is the new 21, woot! 
That should confuse them enough.
Happy birthday to all my fellow July babies. Feel free to borrow that phrase and apply it to whatever age you are turning this year. 42 is the new 21! 56 is the new 21! 23 is the new 21!

I’m 13 so you’re saying it’s ok now to drink and party and have wild sex and all that because I’m the new 21 eh? (just messing with you…the last time I was 13 the Doobie Brothers were popular…)
