Forever 31
What age do you feel? Not your real age, but the age you are in your head. Whatever age you are, your “in your head age” is probably younger than you really are.
I recently turned 29 and I proclaimed 29 to be the new 21 (well technically I proclaimed pretty much every age to be the new 21) because most days that is how old I feel in my head. Apparently I am not alone - according to this article, most men are really 31 in their heads. Go figure!
Excerpt from the article:

If I had to make a guess, I’d say that my general mentality is hovering around that of a 19-20 year old, but enhanced with the wisdom of 9 more years of life experience. That helps me when decisions needs to be made and things need to get done, but in the absence of those two things, my overall thought pattern hasn’t changed all that much.

Well, I crack a sweat and I’m sorta proud of it. I have a nice tan, too. Trouble is, I can’t get rid of this big “waist band” that has developed the past several years.
In 2011 or 2012 I’m going to walk across the US. I’m gonna try anyway. If I complete the walk, I’ll be the oldest known person to do so. I’m sure I’ll feel like 31 when I start–pretty old when I finish.
