While I, like most people, was familiar with the more popular olympic sports, such as swimming, basketball and gymnastics I was not aware of all the lesser known sports categories. For example - have you ever heard of rthymic gymnastics? Until today I had no clue it even existed, but it is an olympic sport! What about badminton? Of course I know what badminton is but I didn’t know you could win an olympic medal in it!
Today I want to give a shout out to all the lesser known olympic events. You might not be as popular as some of the other sports but we still salute you! I would be curious to know how one trains for olympic level badminton…

I am trying to be glued to the T.V., but the television station is making it difficult since they show them all night and only a little in the day!!!!!!!!!!

I have had a lot of fun through many years of watching events that I’ve never seen before and finding that they were well worth my time.
