Oy, Monday again! Weekends are way too short. Work for 5 days and then “break” for 2?! That is a very unequal situation if you ask me.
On this Monday, when I am having a lot of trouble actually accepting that it is in fact the start of another work week, I thought I would pass on some ways to make Monday less traumatic for us - still stuck in Sunday - people.
- Refuse to get out of bed and sleep through it. (This won’t work for me, but I would be curious to see if this tactic turned out to be successful for anyone else.)
- Convince everyone you encounter that it is really still Sunday. If you do a good enough job you might get yourself completely out of working today.
- Convert to a religion that considers today a holiday.
-Quote Office Space all day long - it won’t technically help you at all but you might at least humor/annoy others around you, which will make the time pass.

I apply all the office space principals. I have realized my dream of doing nothing and it’s everything I hoped it would be. I’ll help you mourn the work week though if you would like…
