I am so glad that as of tomorrow this election season will be over! Maybe it’s me but I felt like this election season was longer than most. Perhaps the mud slinging started earlier this time, or maybe the media just made it feel that way. Whatever the case, I am glad that after today, one way or another, it will all be over.

I am not going to say who I am voting for, don’t need to open up that can of worms, but I will say that this election was a doozy for me. After many months of research and introspection I am now at peace with my choice and looking forward to casting my vote and then letting it go. Naturally, once I vote, it will be out of my hands.

So happy election day everyone. Please get out there and cast your vote! If you think you are too busy to vote today think of all the people around the world who aren’t given the freedom to make their voice heard.
