Well it is officially December, so I have to stop complaining about the non stop holiday music playing in all of the stores I guess. I even gave my husband a free pass to play it as much as he wants (even though he has already been playing it for weeks).
We went to Ruby Tuesday recently and mixed in with the muzak are strange covers of traditional Christmas songs. I went to the bathroom and realized that piping into the speakers was Chris Martin singing Have yourself a merry little Christmas. Really?! It never ends. Even in the ladies room they bombard you with holiday tunes.
Considering that Thanksgiving fell later in the month this year that leaves less time to torture us with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer though, so I guess I should be glad of that.
Here is hoping the repeated sounds of Dominic the Donkey don’t drive you all insane!
Ho, ho ho….

Hee haw. Hee haw.
I can’t be blamed for the music in the house… I just put on the Sounds of the Seasons station and it’s there. See, THEY’VE decided that it’s Christmas season. Although I won’t argue.

Yet another reason to shop on line.

I hear you. I think I posted about that weird phenomenon last year. Why do all musicians feel compelled to sing their own versions of the Christmas songs? We can only take so many versions of Rudolph…

I know, and it is always the musicians you would least expect!
