It’s almost Academy time!
The 81st Academy Awards are rapidly approaching. At this time of year I always wish I saw more of the nominated films so I would have better luck guessing who might win. Among the nominated films I did see are Slumdog Millionaire, Rachael Getting Married, The Dark Knight, Tropic Thunder, Man on Wire, Iron Man, Wall-E, and Happy-Go-Lucky. No too bad, but there were several others I really wanted to see. I guess I will have to rent the DVDs.
At any rate, I came across a printable ballot on msnbc. It is always fun to guess the winners, especially if you are like me and you enjoy watching the entire (looong) Oscars broadcast. If you think you have got a lock on who is going to win what, you could print ballots for your coworkers and start an office pool. Nothing brings coworkers together like getting beaten at some dumb pool, right? 
Personally, I am rooting for Slumdog Millionaire - it ROCKED!
