Winter has tricked me yet again. Yes it is officially spring and the weather has been reasonable at least. However this weekend, we got a very quick and light snow fall. It was surreal, out of the sunny blue sky, tiny snowflakes started to fall. At first I thought I was seeing things but then I realized it was just good ol winter rearing its ugly head again. Thankfully the snowfall was very brief and did not leave any traces of itself once it stopped.
But just the thought that it is snowing during springtime, well it is enough to make you want to tell winter to kiss your you know what! I am hopeful that was the last time we will see any remnants of winter weather until next year…hopeful, but again, not holding my breath!

It started snowing again here after it was 50 degrees. I was fooled and started watching for the lake to melt. Yes mother nature is now up there pointing and laughing at me as the flakes are falling and the ice is thickening on the water.

It was 75 degrees last week and today it dipped into the 50’s. I froze.
