Is it April?
Rain, rain and more rain. Don’t bother watching the forecast right now, it is just going to rain and then rain some more. Truth be told, I don’t really mind the rain all that much. Yes it does do a serious number on my hair but for the most part rainy days usually mean cooler days and this time of year I will take as many cool days as I can get.
I know that popular opinion hates the rain this time of year and is desperate for those “beach days”. Not I! I will take the 60 degree day with the drizzles over the 90 degrees any day. Plus the yard/gardens have never looked so lush!

I love the expression, “It’s gonna warm up and rain.” I don’t mind the rain. When it’s raining it’s not snowing or freezing. I don’t care for winter all that much. I’ll take hot and dry, or hot and wet. Or just regular pleasant.
