I recently discovered one of the most fabulous products in the world…no sew hem tape. What is no sew hem tape you ask? Well the name is pretty self explanatory but just in case….it is semi-adhesive tape that you iron into the hem of your pants so you can easily adjust the length of your pants without having to sew a single stitch!

I recently attended my husband’s office Christmas party and had to adjust the hem on a new pair of pants; not having enough time to get them professionally hemmed I decided to give the no sew hem a try. I am not sure how well it would wear over several wearings (and washings) but for one night out on the town my new hem performed beautifully! And at less than $3.00 per package (at most craft stores) it costs considerably less than paying someone to hem them for you.

Of course those of you with a sewing machine and some patience can hem your own pants…as for me I will stick with my hem tape.
