After six incredible, ming-boggling, confusing, kick-a$$, jaw-dropping, beautiful seasons my favorite show has come to an end. I am truly sad about the end of the LOST series.

For those of you who have never seen it, well I cannot even begin to describe it. And I am afraid I would not do it justice if I tried, so if you are so inclined I strongly suggest that you check out all 6 seasons, in order, on DVD.

To my fellow died hard fans, or Losties as some like to be called, how much do you miss this show already?! It was quite literally the only show on TV that I watched religiously. Now that it is over I guess I will have to find a new show to obsess over.

While this show was known for it’s confusing plot lines, and biblical and scientific references, at its heart it was really a show about this crazy ride we call life. A show about a group of random strangers who turned into a somewhat disfunctional family of sorts. I for one thought the finale was phenomenal. I know a lot of people do not share that opinion but for me it gave me exactly what I needed. All I really wanted going into the finale was to know the fate of our beloved castaways and the finale gave me that. A somewhat confusing and incredibly beautiful explanation of what happened to Jack and the rest of the gang. I cried, then cried some more and then cried more after it was over. Then I woke up the next day and cried a little more.
